St Johnstone get ICT apology over spitting incident

John Hughes made a swift apology to St Johnstone after one of his players spat on a Perth youngster in an under-20s game, Tommy Wright has revealed.
It is understood that Neil Martyniuk was the victim and, with ICT having suspended Dani Lopez while they investigate the Tuesday night incident, Wright is content to keep out of it.
“It has been dealt with by Inverness,” he said.
“I wasn’t there but John Hughes came into our dressing room after the game and was very apologetic.
“That was very much appreciated.
“I also believe (chairman) Kenny Cameron rang our chairman about it.
“So I think Inverness have taken swift action and action that has to be commended.
“I’m sure they’ll deal with it, it’s not our problem.”
Lopez scored the only goal of the game but was then sent off.
