The calendar year has been another highly successful one for the Perth men – securing their fourth European campaign at the end of 2014/15 and getting half-way through the 2015/16 campaign well-positioned to make it a fifth in a few months’ time.
And keeper Alan Mannus wants to head into the new year on the back of a win at Motherwell tonight that will keep the pressure on third-placed Hearts and second-placed Aberdeen.
“It has been a good year for us and it would be nice to finish it with another win,” the Northern Irishman said.
“We are in a good position in the league although Motherwell have picked up and will be looking to continue moving up the table.
“But we want to keep our unbeaten record going and maintain the momentum. We haven’t lost any of our last seven away games.
“We want to get the points and stay in a strong position going into the new year.”
