St Johnstone expect to have defender Callum Davidson back from illness in time to face crisis club Hearts.
Saints will travel to Tynecastle next Tuesday to play the now managerless Jam Tarts, who parted company with boss John McGlynn.
It is a crucial fixture for the Perth men, who let victory over Dundee slip from their grasp in midweek, as they strive to finish in the top six.
The good news is that Davidson and his namesake, midfielder Murray, who was suspended for the 2-2 draw at Dens Park, will be available.
“Callum fell ill and never really had a chance of facing Dundee but he is set to be OK for the Hearts game,” said manager Steve Lomas.
“We will also have Murray back after his ban so that will give us a boost.
“We weren’t at our best against Dundee that’s for sure but you also had them raising their game, what with it being their new manager’s (John Brown) first one in charge.”
Talking about the managerial merry-go-round, Lomas had sympathy for McGlynn, the man he was expecting to be in the home dugout at Tynecastle next week.
“It is a real shame for John,” said Lomas.
“I think we all knew his remit there was to drastically cut the budget and bring young players through.
“He seemed to be doing just that and also got them into a cup final (the Scottish Communities League Cup final against St Mirren).”
