She is on two-over 146 after a pair of 73s at in the Ladies European Tour Final Qualifying School at Marrakech, Morocco. McNicoll is two shots over the projected qualifying figure of level par at the end of 72 holes. She is lying joint 80th at the moment and somehow or other has to climb up into the top 60 and ties by tomorrow evening. Pamela Feggans and Vikki Laing have taken over as the leading Scots following Heather MacRae’s second-round slump. Feggans shot a two-under 70 for two-under 142, the same total as Laing who followed up a 69 with a 73. MacRae ran up a 76 after her first round 68.
