Professional and amateur golfers joined forces on the Torrance Course at Fairmont St Andrews on Wednesday as the course prepares for the arrival of the world’s top senior players.
The 18th Cleveland Golf/Srixon Scottish Senior Open starts on Thursday.
Former Ryder Cup captain Sam Torrance will aim to make home advantage count when he tees off on the links course that he helped design.
Another ex-Ryder Cup captain, Ian Woosnam, is also among the big names bound for the town, which only last month hosted the Open Championship.
The winner will walk away with an increased prize purse of £250,000.
