JEFF Hutchins believes Dundee Stars can surge up the table if they can build on last Sunday’s victory over high-flying Sheffield Steelers.
The Stars go head-to-head against Hull Stingrays with the opening clash on Humberside on Saturday, with the return on Sunday at 6.30pm.
Hutchins said that his side have trained well this week following their 4-2 victory over Sheffield their second win of the league campaign.
He said: “I believe there is no team we should be worried about in this league. We can earn points in every game. Sunday was a big result for us and we can take four points this weekend.
“That will put us right back in the mix and this weekend, I believe, is critical for us.”
Hutchins, who reported a clean bill of health, added: “We can make a great run if we can kick-on from last Sunday.”
Danny Stewart, Fife Flyers’ associate player-coach, believes his side are ready to face Edinburgh Capitals in Kirkcaldy on Saturday night.
He said: “Edinburgh have been suffering from a lack of bodies recently and we beat them last weekend in Kirkcaldy, but they are a dangerous side and the guys know that.
“Capitals play a particular style and we have prepared for that and we are looking for another win as we are at home.”
Flyers travel to play Sheffield on Sunday.
