Fife Flyers welcome Brahead Clan to town tonight, with the home side looking to ex-Clan star Bobby Chaumont for inspiration.
Danny Stewart, Fife’s associate player/coach, said: “Bobby is a big part of our team and he showed that against Dundee last weekend with five assists at Kirkcaldy.
“He creates things and we’ll need to do that against Clan. They are a quality side and are going really well this season.
“There is a great rivalry between the clubs and it would be a great confidence boost to us if we could get a result here on Friday.”
Fife want to erase the memory of Clan’s last visit in mid-December when they were whipped 8-2.
Stewart admitted: “Everything that could have gone wrong did. It was our lowest point of the season and we want to address that.
“If we want to challenge for titles then Braehead are the quality of club we have to beat.”
