Eilish McColgan continued her preparations for Glasgow with ninth place in the 3,000m steeplechase at the Folksam Grand Prix in Gothenburg.
McColgan clocked a season’s best of 10 minutes 03.65 seconds but was headed by fellow Scot Lenny Waite, who finished seventh in 9:55.80.
Sweden’s Charlotta Fougberg won in 9:35.27.
Edinburgh AC’s Jayne Nisbet cleared 1.82m in the high jump the same height as winner My Nordstrm (Sweden) and runner-up Katerina Mgenburg (Norway) but placed third on count-back.
The highlight of the meeting came in the men’s 800m as Cuba’s Lopez Yeimer clocked one minute 43.98 seconds with GB’s Mohammed Mukhtar the runner-up over three seconds adrift in 1:47.33.
Dunfermline athlete Gemma Nicol was seventh over 400m in Geneva timed at 53.85 seconds.
