Picture perfect night as Gillian grabs Commonwealth selfie with Usain Bolt

As far as selfies go they probably don’t come much cooler than one with the world’s fastest man.

Gillian Gibson, from Tullibody in Clackmannanshire couldn’t believe her luck when super-star sprinter, Usain Bolt made a beeline for her her family to pose for a picture after winning his first Commonwealth gold medal in the 4×100 relay.

She said: “We were in the front row and I think the Bolt masks we were wearing and our Jamaican flags attracted him.

“He came right over to me, my husband Billy, kids Christopher and Euan and the three other families we were there with.

“I’m a massive fan and was so excited I could barely hold the phone to take the picture.

“He was great though, laughing at our masks and he asked for a selfie with me wearing the mask and one without.

“Then he signed all the kids’ flags-he was just brilliant and meeting him was the icing on the cake after a fantastic Commonwealth Games experience.”
