Fife Flyers looking to quell Braehead’s Purple Army

Fife Flyers plan to silence the Purple Army when they travel to Braehead Clan.
The Kirkcaldy club shutout the Glasgow side 4-0 recently but know there will be a backlash.
Danny Stewart, Fife’s associate player/coach, said: “We hear there will be a massive crowd there. There will be great expectations and our message to the boys is simple.
“We have to go out hard and silence that crowd. We’ve emphasised that all week in training and we have to execute that on game day.”
He added: “We must concentrate for the whole game and maintain our work ethic.
“They have dangerous guys in their team and a strong squad. They also have a spread of people who can score on you and the guys know what they have to do.”
Fife have won their last four games and Stewart commented: “We know they will be charged up as it is their first home game in weeks but we’ve prepared well. We know all about their form, but we’re more bothered about ourselves and our preparations. We’ll be ready.”
