Fife Flyers have confirmed the signing of 28-year-old Canadian forward Justin Fox. The 6ft, 190lb forward joins the Flyers from ECHL side Quad City Mallards. Fox played 71 games for the ECHL side last season, scoring 23 goals and 35 assists for a 58pt season. Fox has also played in the SPHL, CHL and AIHL. Fox said: “I am extremely excited to be a part of the Fife Flyers organisation. “I have heard nothing but great things about the town and the fans. “I can’t wait to get to Kirkcaldy and get things started. I’m looking forward to the season ahead.” Associate coach Danny Stewart said: “We are excited to get Justin on board after a breakout season for him last year for the Quad City Mallards. “He brings a lot of energy to the wing. A guy willing to get to dirty areas in the same fashion as a Kris Hogg and Jordan Fulton style of play. “He brings us a good combination of physicality and skill and will be in our top six guys to start the year.”
