Fife Flyers bosses have clinched the signing of a free-scoring hit-man in a bid to put real pressure on the opposition.
Canadian forward TJ Caig has a wealth of experience in Europe, having played in Italy, France, the Netherlands, Germany and also Austria.
Head coach Todd Dutiaume has high hopes for the 34-year-old newcomer, who is making his British debut.
The 198lb right-handed forward of Kelowna, British Columbia, joins the Flyers from East Coast Hockey League side Tulsa Oilers, where he finished the season with 60 points from 71 games (24 goals and 36 assists).
Dutiaume has done his homework on the former University of Minnestoa-Duluth player, and said: “He thrives on having the puck on his stick in scoring positions and will keep our opposing goaltenders busy this season.”
