Dundee Hawkhill athlete Laura Muir will compete in today’s PSD Bank International in Dusseldorf.
The Milnathort veterinary student will contest the 1,500m with Kenyan Hellen Obiri 2012 World Indoor gold medallist over 3,000m among her rivals.
Muir’s indoor 1,500m personal best stands at four minutes and 12.36 seconds, set at last year’s European Indoor Championships in Gothenburg.
The men’s 60m sprint features a star line-up including former World 100m champion Kim Collins (St Kitts & Nevis), the winner over 150m at the Glasgow International match at the Emirates Arena last Saturday.
* British heptathlete Louise Hazel has come out of retirement in a bid to defend her Commonwealth title in Glasgow this year.
The 28-year-old, who won gold in Delhi in 2010, had only announced her retirement last September.
