Ross Hutchins has set his sights on winning a Grand Slam title with partner Colin Fleming as he prepares for a return to competitive tennis.
The British doubles specialist has missed the whole season after being diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a form of cancer, last December.
Hutchins underwent six months of chemotherapy at the Royal Marsden Hospital and was told he was in remission in July. The 28-year-old returned to training immediately.
“We really want to push on and win a slam. That’s really where we want to be, and that’s our goal for the next few years. My ambitions haven’t changed.”
