Todd Dutiaume has reminded his players that Fife Flyers’ directors are closely studying the club’s recent results.
The experienced coach hopes that acts as a spur for his men tonight as they bid to overturn a two-goal deficit from the first-leg against high-flying Sheffield Steelers to qualify for the semi-final of the Challenge Cup.
Dutiaume said: “The directors have been great.
“The guys are treated like a top team here, they are paid well and the facilities are great but I don’t know if the directors are getting a return on their investment right now.”
Fife travel south in the knowledge that they have beaten Sheffield this season, a 5-2 success at Kirkcaldy.
