Fife Flyers will host the first leg of the Elite League play-off quarter-final showdown with arch rivals Dundee Stars.
The clash is at Kirkcaldy on Saturday (7.15pm) with the return at Dundee Ice Arena on Sunday (6.30pm).
Sell-out crowds are expected at both venues and the eagerly-awaited tie means a Scottish club will be in the final four for the first time in Elite League history.
Both sets of fans and players can’t wait for the mouth-watering clash, with Fife Flyers one of the form teams going into the play-offs.
Todd Dutiaume’s men have won 11 of their last 14 league games to come from bottom of the table to finish seventh at the end of the regular season.
Fife completed the gruelling 52-game campaign with four straight wins giving them 53 points, only seven points adrift of Dundee who topped the table at one point in the season.
Dundee finished third the highest position of any Scottish club in Elite League history.

Fife’s coach Dutiaume admitted: “We were written off in January and we discussed it as a group.
“I remember walking into the dressing-room and saying it was going to be a long, hard season if we threw in the towel.
“I also said that this was our living and not many people have the opportunity to earn a living from playing ice hockey.
“Others would love the chance to do what we do and I told the guys to go out there and enjoy the experience.
“Things just happened and now look where we are, within two games of making the final four.”
Dutiaume added: “Having a Scottish team there (at Nottingham) is great for Scottish hockey. On Sunday we had over 3,500 in our rink. We’re likely do that again on Saturday.
“Last Saturday, Braehead had a sell-out crowd for us coming and those are big numbers. This is great for Scottish ice hockey and we go into the play-offs with a great recent record.”
Fife’s recent purple patch has not shaken Dundee’s confidence in making the play-off semi-finals in Nottingham at the weekend.
Jeff Hutchins, Dundee’s player/coach, said: “The owners of both clubs will love this match-up as they will make some money. The players will be up for it and so will the fans and it’s great that we don’t have far to travel.”
He added: “Fife are going well right now but we are confident in our ability and I feel this is going to be a good series.”
And Hutchins dismissed Sunday’s 4-1 defeat at Murrayfield against Edinburgh Capitals.
He said: “Don’t read anything into that. We’ll be ready for the weekend.”
