Danny Stewart would like nothing better than to enter 2015 on a three-game winning streak.
And the opportunity presents itself at Murrayfield today when Fife Flyers square-up to Edinburgh Capitals.
Stewart, who scored in Sunday’s narrow, 3-2 road win at arch rivals Dundee Stars, said: “Last weekend was big for us with back-to-back wins over Stars.
“We are playing better hockey now and three wins on the bounce would be great.
“We’ll train hard going into Edinburgh as we know how important points are to us. Capitals are always tough. They have lost their last four but that always happens to teams during the season, but the boys will be ready and we’re looking for three in a row.”
