Dundee High School will play their Brewin Dolphin U18 Scottish Schools Cup semi-final clash at Murrayfield on Saturday November 9.
The match against George Heriot’s School will take place on the back pitches and act as a noon curtain-raiser to the main event at the national stadium that day the first viagogo Autumn Test match versus Japan.
Dundee captain Chris Jollands said: “The team is buzzing. We’re so excited about the opportunity we’ve been given.
“Playing at Murrayfield will allow the boys to see where we could be at the end of the month if we win.
“We’ve reached the semis for the last three years, so we’re hoping to make the final this year.
“The Brewin Dolphin Cup is really competitive and everyone’s upping their game for it. We’re hoping a lot of former pupils will be coming to watch.”
Both U18 semi-finals were due to be played at Murrayfield, but Strathallan School have a centenary concert that day.
They will now travel to play George Watson’s College at a neutral venue, on a date yet to be agreed.
