New Edinburgh chief Alan Solomons has urged his side to carry on where they left off despite losing 34-23 to Munster in Cork when they square up to the Dragons on Friday.
The coach issued his directive after watching his side hit back strongly in the wake of a disastrous first half against the Euro specialists.
A severe thrashing had looked on the cards but the visitors got their act together to not only stem the home tide, but win the second half contest.
Solomons said: “We showed tremendous character after the interval when we scored 17 points and they scored 12.
“We allowed Munster to pick up too much early momentum, which put us on the back foot and made it hard for us to get width on our defence.”
Having soaked up a pile of pressure, the visitors snatched the lead in the 11th minute with an angled penalty by Piers Francis.
But his strike spurred Munster into attacking action and hesitation in defence allowed full-back Dennis Hurley to squeeze over in the corner and breakaway forward James Coughlan galloped in for their second touchdown, goaled by Ian Keatley.
Keatley added a penalty, though Francis replied in identical style.
But Edinburgh’s troubles began to mount again when winger Lee Jones was yellow-carded for a mid-air challenge on Coughlan.
James Cronin rumbled over for Munster’s third score, converted by Keatley, before Francis wasted two further penalty chances before the break.
But they looked much more slick after the restart and Nick De Luca jinked over for a fine try. Francis added the extras.
Ivan Dineen made sure of the bonus point for the home brigade but substitute Harry Leonard cut the gap to 11 with a penalty.
JJ Hanrahan grabbed another Munster converted touchdown before Jones scored for the Scots, Leonard converting.
