GregorTownsend has challenged his Glasgow fringe men to sell themselves in the Twickenham shop window.
The Warriors step up preparations for Pro12 hostilities by squaring up to Harlequins at the Stoop, in the shadow of the famous venue.
And with several of his front liners being kept in cotton wool, Townsend believes it is the perfect chance for the others to stake a claim for competitive action.
The coach declared: “It will be a great experience for these guys to play on one of the top English grounds against one of England’s best teams.
“The intensity will now increase for the Quins match and then the one against Exeter Chiefs next weekend.
“This is an opportunity for a number of the players to put their hands up for selection for our league opener against Cardiff Blues in a couple of weeks and I’m expecting a big performance from the side.”
